Keg halfpint at Fealty’s Bar, Bangor. ABV 4.7%. Deep golden colour, white head. The aroma has moderate malts and decent citrussy hops. The flavour is fairly dry, with distinct citrussy and piney hops, also some dark berries and sufficient malts in the background. Refreshing and good.

Keg at Grannie Annies, Ballymena, 10/07/17. Clear golden amber with a decenter off white head. Nose is caramel, bitter orange, toasted bread, light grapefruit esters. Taste comprises caramel malts, biscuit, straw, bitter orange, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Old skool feel ... average for style but better than most other keg offerings in this part of the world !
