For those who are looking for a well-balanced beer! Due to a special brewing technique this beer features many caramel-like, malty flavors. We use a traditional hop variety from the German Hallertau region in Bavaria which gives the beer a mild spicy, noble hop aroma character without a strong bitterness. This is a very reliable beer - and it’s easy to enjoy!

A small bottle from A-Mart in Jing Mei, the most recent iteration with the nice minimalist label. Aroma: barely discernible. Appearance: opaque copper, a pleasing colour; minimal off-white lacing. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, average carbonation; modest retention at the finish. Taste: lightly sweet, biscuit and almond in equal measure; not bad.

On tap pours out amber color topped with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet caramel honey malts some toast and a little grass hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel honey malts and some grain with a touch of wheat.

Bottled at the Yokohama GJBF 2012. Deep orange-amber, rather raunchy smell of grains and corn, fruit. Sweet, fruity flavor, a sloppy mess really.

On tap in Eslite. Cloudy amber with white small dense head. Very little aroma - malt, slightly metallic / fruity maybe. The flavour was good, but not true to style. There was distinct hops with some bfruitiness (banana / lychee?) giving some acidity. Rather bland really, but refreshing and light with a fairly crisp hoppy finish. The palate was fizzy and medium bodied. It’s an OK beer, but not true to style.
