Cannonball is a registered trademark of an adjacent beverage product, so we couldn’t use that. Pencil Dive was there for the taking, but is a little too blah for us. But.... “Ostro” is the south wind of the Mediterranean. Now that is smooth warm vibes coming straight outta Africa to hit you in the flavour zone. Flavour Zone is actually something we should trademark. In fact, we should have called the beer Flavour Zone. Or Flavourzone. No, that’s too chemical sounding. We’ll stick with Ostro.

We have literally been talking about brewing a lager with our friends at @fourwindsbrewco for the past 5 years, and we are very happy we finally made it happen. This Pilsner is brewed with German Durst Malt as the base and hopped with Magnum and Saaz. The aroma is traditionally floral with a layer of lemon and the malt character comes through in the flavour with a beautiful sweet bread crust. Clean and crisp with balanced bitterness.
