CIA v1.0 is based on the drink or shot called a Surfer on Acid. A Surfer on Acid is traditionally made with equal parts coconut rum, pineapple juice and anise flavored liqueur. For this we chose a soft and juicy IPA with a simple grist of pilsen and oats. Magnum hops bring a touch of bitterness and pineappley Strata handles the whirlpool, biotransformation, and huge dry hop. Conditioned with an ample amount of coconut, pineapple puree and a calculated amount of star anise. The result is very reminiscent of the drink with a hop saturated IPA twist.

Bright gold with a large foamy white head. Tart and tangy with sweet lime and coconut. Long finish. Medium body.
