On nitro tap at Fat Bottom, pours black with a reddish tinge and a medium tan head. Aroma brings out lightly toasted malt and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is quite bitter, with metallic notes and medium roasted barley. Mouthfeel is very creamy, but the bitterness and metallic character is a bit too abrasive. Okay.

Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a hazy dark, almost pitch black color with a small light brown head. Aroma was roasted malts, notes of chocolate, oats. Flavor was roasted, chocolate. Pretty tasty. Sessionable.
