Bottle at SARA. It pours a lightly hazed pale yellow/orange color with a white head. The aroma has some creamy vanilla, lemon, sour apricot notes with subtle funky phenols in the background. The flavor has a restrained, but quenching amount of lactic tartness with notes of lemon, tangerine, leather and light vanilla barrel notes. Very light hints of band-aid phenols in the finish. Drinkability is high. Very refreshing.

It’s a fairly pale yellow beer. Moderately hazy. Medium white head. Some lacing. Wonderful saison complexity in the aroma. Some fresh grain flavor. Earthy but light. Wonderful lightly fruity funk. Apricot, strawberry, plum. Taste is lightly tart and dry and definitely delivers on the earthy, funky promise of the aroma. Mild lemon and dusty farmhouse flavors. Very easy to drink. I can absolutely see this beer going great with food. Dry finish with a lingering earthy, lemony flavor. An absolutely delicious saison.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is slightly sulfurous with a light citrus lemon note. Some light pale grain notes with light phenolics. Some light tropical fruit and peach skin notes. Pours a slightly hazy, bright yellow gold with a small, moderately thick, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Medium light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light acidity with some bright lemon notes. Some peach skins and light light pineapple notes. Some light mineral notes. Light bitterness. Some lingering acidity with some light grain notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. A really soft mouthfeel. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with some nice citrus notes and a really soft, clean mouthfeel. Dry finish with some nice, light fruit and phenolic notes.
