On draught at Gourmet Haus. Chardonnay shows thru on the nose. Wheat as well. Hazy honey color with tight bubbled head and slight ringing and lacing. Green fruit follow through with bread dough chewiness from the yeast. Soft mellowing from the barrel of apple and a dry finish. Alcohol hidden but showing slight warmth.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Malt and light spice aroma. Spice and light yeast flavor with light fruitiness, oak, and malt. Medium bodied. Vanilla and oak lingers with light white wine, light spice, and light malt.

Tap at the Rubicon. Pours hazy amber gold - with a creamy beige head you can draw pictures in - and it laced too. Med body at least. Aroma is stone fruit and citrus. Flavor is yeast/spice, peach/apricot/orange, a oak note, and just the least, possibly imaginary, sour intrusion. Between the oak and that sour I can also imagine a light brett. Probably not tho. Heat is no issue here, and this is arguably a complex ale.

On tap at City Beer. Pours with a lightly hazed golden body with a white head that lasts. Aromas show a lot of phenol, spicy, earthy and estery. Mild candy sugar and vanilla. Flavors are lightly tart, fruity, dried apricot, white wine, tangerine and floral alcohol. Dry and floral through the finish. Mildly warming, very, very mild barrel character with fuller carbonation. Decently solid BGSA.
