Tap into a snifter showing a finger of latte colored foam and pitch black. The nose shows dark chocolate with a light vanilla background and notes of cinnamon. The palate is full bodied and lightly carbonated but incredibly smooth. Flavors of light caramel with notes of cinnamon and lightly roasted dark malts. Finish shows dark coffee bean with hints of vanilla. Resurgence is more coffee bean and vanilla to give a light latte profile.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of cinnamon, vanilla, tonka, lovely stuff! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of spices, vanilla, cinnamon, lovely sweetness, chocolate. Aftertaste: more chocolate, cinnamon, bit sweet, sourish, lovely beer!

Bottled. Near black, small head. Medicinal cinnamon aroma. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel Coffee, rubber and cinnamon. Super sweet - you almost need to cut it with scissors. Peppery finish with lots of alcohol. Unrefined and sketchy, Close to undrinkable.

Tap (AleBrowar, Wroclaw). Barwa niemal czarna, brazowa piana, niezbyt trwala ale ladnie oblepiajaca szklo. W aromacie czekolada mieszana z nutami marcepana i delikatnymi nutami alkoholu po ogrzaniu, niemniej aromat bardzo ciekawy, przyjemny. W smaku mega kakaowe, czekoladowe z wyraznym akcentem marcepana, gorzkie od kakao o czekolady, bardzo wyraziste w smaku. Piwo oleiste z solidnym cialem, lekko rozgrzewajace w przelyku i od srodka, dosc pijalne jak na swoja moc a na pewno niepowtarzalne z ciekawym finiszem, leciutko kwaskowym, ciut cierpkim, nieco przyprawowym, alkoholowym.

Complete black stuff with a solid thick nice beige head that leaves a fine lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Full body and a smooth carbonation level. Mellow nice sweetness. Oily texture. Lovely mix between cocoa, chocolate, vanilla and espresso coffee in the flavor. Lovely evening sipper. Dangerously well masked alcohol. You could notice some in the aroma.

AIBF2016. Blackish brown pour with no head worth mentioning. Intense roasted coconut nose. Roasted malts and light coffee/chocolate. Heavy sweet and bitter. Syrupy viscous round astringent mouthfeel.
