330ml bottle. Thick and dark with a thin, short lived tan head. Boozy vanilla and coffee aroma. Flavour is complex, fruit cake, coffee, cream, chocolate, vanilla. Excellent

Black beer, brown head. Aroma is surprisingly light, with malt, coffee and chocolate but not a lot of it. The taste is something else though. Coffee, vanilla, malt, chocolate, liquorice, brown sugar. A touch of bitterness in there too for the aftertaste though I can't quite place where that comes from. This is magnificent stuff though. And not that big a boozy kick either so it's all I can do not to guzzle it.

Keg at Port Street, Manchester. Lovely sweet candied nut aroma. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head. The taste matches the aroma with the addition of a bitter coffee seam. Overall though it's sugary sweet. Thick bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. I like it but would need a few hours to get through anything more than a third. A.dedinite sipper.

330ml bottle. Pours jet black with a medium head. Aroma is cinnamon and vanilla and beany, if that's a thing? Fuck knows, but it smells nice. Taste has vanilla and cinnamon throughout. Some cocoa and roast. This is tasty shit. I have no idea what tonka beans are but Google says they taste like cinnamon, so ignore the cinnamon comments and replace with tonka. No sense of the strength. Go buy one.

Bottle from Beers'n'more, more than a year ago. BB 08/06/2026. Pours dark brown with a low slightly beige head. Aroma is coffee beans, chocolate, hot chocolate, vanilla. Body is heavy and sweet and bitter. Strong coffee notes, but also chocolate and milk and caramel and vanilla. Low carbo, but who cares. The sweetness and flavours deliver all the delicious punches you could wish for. Well, you could also wish for a tad less stickiness and a slightly easier way to drink this, as it soon becomes too powerful, even during a cold winter night. Still, this beer deserves its praise.

Bottle 33 cl. Pretty close to black color, noisy brown foam. Exotic aroma: sweet spices (cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg), chocolate and alcohols. Taste: sweetish balm with chocolate and spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, dried fruits, decent portion of rum, warming. Extravagant stout.

330ml bottle from 2017. Pours thick black with a thin tan head dissipating quickly. Aroma is rich and sweet, lots of cherry, chocolate, vanilla, and some dark fruits. Taste is also very rich, very sweet, cherries, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, marzipan, brown sugar, cinnamon, some roasted malt, some coffee bitterness, some booze too but not enough to think it was 13%. Full bodied, thick creamy mouthfeel, fine carbonation, sticky. An outstanding beer overall.
