Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a chestnut brown with a finger of beige head. Tropical and dank hop aromas with some light chocolate and coffee notes as it warms. Good resiny, piney hops on the palate with some more dankness that comes out. Slightly water on the palate but with good carbonation. Finish is maybe a bit too bitter. Not bad. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hopped-Up Brown Ale on 10 Apr 2016 at 15:06 - Score: 6. Original review text: First beer since Apeil 1st...influenza is a bitch. Good coffee, chocolate and hoppy notes...wTery and astringent.

Tap at Beer Hunters, Pori. Dark ruby color, small steady beige head, lace. Hoppy, a bit chocolaty and yeasty aroma. Medium-bodied. Bitter, roasted flavor. Some odd yeastyness. Hoppy brown ale which is more like a black ipa.
