Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours black with a small off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, dark fruit, light chocolate, and light cooked veg. Very sweet, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @Gallows real ale festival. Pours near black with a thick off white head. Aroma has coffee, roastedness, tobacco notes, espresso. Lovely aroma. Flavor has espresso, roasted malt, hops, tobacco. Dark chocolate. Long finish with chocolate and coffee. Awesome.

Cask at the Shakespeare, Kelham Island, Sheffield. Poured a dark brown colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasty smoked malt, dry coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich fruity, creamy sweet malt palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
