Cask @ The Magnet, Stockport [040417]
Dark caramel brown, dense white head, too light to be a stout, even a porter
Aroma of slight fruity malt, no orange
Taste of light fruity malt, odd herbal note, no roast, not much flavour
Palate - Medium light body, tad thin, slightly sticky, soft bitter. Finish has a light bitter linger, maybe a hint of orange zest, odd linger that lasts for ages
Overall - Not a stout, orange takes a long while to come through

At the brew pub, Sheffield 18/1/2017. Dark brown in colour, with a decent, beige, head. Pleasant stout, with some coffee beans, plain chocolate, toasty malts, tangerine fruits, a touch of leafy hops and a moderately dry finish. Enjoyable.
