The USA has given us loads of things. Baseball. Disney. Cheese in a can. But their innovation and boundary-pushing approach to the new wave of craft beer is one of the things we cherish most. To celebrate US Beer Day, we’ve fired up the pilot kit for this 7.4% West Coast IPA packed full of Simcoe, Citra, Idaho 7 and Krush. Cheers, y’all!

Keg at BrewDoge Paddington, 09/05/2025.
Almost clear golden orange with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is pineapple, melon, grass, orange peel.
Taste comprises mango pulp, grapefruit, pineapple, grass, light pine dusting.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness.
Okay if running a touch overly sweet for my liking.

Can direct from Brewdoge's online store. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The aroma is vibrant tropical fruit character, melon, watermelon, guava, gooseberry, star fruit, peach, mango, zingy citrus and some danky notes. The taste is crisp, dry, clean malt base, firm bitterness which builds throughout, bright, pithy, zesty citrus, grapefruit, plenty of exotic fruits, guava stands out, watermelon, lychee, white grape, green, weedy, dank, fresh pine, nip of spice, damp herbals and a pleasing hit of booze. Finish is drying and snappy. Medium body and fine , prickly carbonation. Easily BD's best IPA in ages. Interesting, bitter, vibrant and satisfying.
