Shadow

Shadow is a traditional Baltic Porter fermented with lager yeast then lagered in stainless for an additional 6 weeks. We then transfer the beer out of the fermenter into freshly dumped French Oak Tawny Port barrels, direct from Portugal. Once the barrels were filled, we pushed them into our walk-in cooler and barrel aged the beer cold for 16 months. After cold aging in the barrels, we blended the barrels back into a stainless tank and lagered it again for another 2 weeks. We’re extremely pleased with the final result.
