FREUNDESLAGER is the result of a collaboration with two very good friends, true legends in brewing bottom-fermented beers: Eric Toft, from Schönramer Brauerei in Bavaria, and Agostino Arioli, from Birrificio Italiano - the inventor of the Italian Pils!
Freundeslager has a beautiful, slightly cloudy orange color. The smell is typical of a lager, but clearly fruitier. It has a very malty and biscuity taste, which is very tasty. At the same time it also has floral and fruity aromas that are reminiscent of peaches, oranges and gooseberries. These flavors are made present by a clever mix of Belgian and German hops. It has a great body and complexity for a light beer, and it is well balanced by a fine bitterness. The alcohol content is 4%.

Bottle from Raynville Superstore. it pours hazy blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, hob nob biscuits, nuttiness, hay, cereal, nuttiness, bready and bran muffin. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, grassy bitterness, fragrant, floral, daisies, peppery spice, biscuit, cereal, lemon peel, touch of apricot, biscuit and crackery malt. Finish is grassy and fragrant. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Plenty flavourful for 4%. Moreish and satisfying.

33cl Bottle @ BieresGourmet formerly known as just Etre. New beer from De La Senne with some comrads whom I also respect. Pours deep hazy orange with a frothy White head. Nose has the De La Senne esque yeast. Adding a touch of barnyard and corn. Super soft mouthfeel. More White bread and grassy hops. Dry and crispy hoppy grassy finish. Super. 4.2.
