6.3 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a tiny beige head. Nose is rich and complex, with deep port barrel presence, a touch of bourbon, and dark dried fruits. Flavour is surprisingly dry, with the port barrel dominating and almost completely drying things out, with gentle bourbon, and a touch of very dry fruits. Finishes with port domination and, again, a surprisingly dry malty finish. Very good, but I think the dryness prevents it from being what it could be.

6.3oz bottle. Pours murky brown with a pretty minimal head. Lots of chewy caramel, dark dried fruits, and tons of rich bourbon and port on the nose. Flavour is much drier than the nose suggests; dry caramel, more of the dried fruit character, and plenty of vinous red port barrels throughout. Nice complexity; I liked the nose more than the palate, but still a great beer.

Draught at source: pours dark brown with small head. Aroma is vanilla, whiskey, toffee, caramel. Taste is boozy, light bitterness. Not super thick.
