Gewurztraminer Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Hengst Grand Cru.
In September 2024 Jeroen and Mattias travelled to the Alsace to meet with Olivier from Zind-Humbrecht to pick up Gewurztraminer grape skins left over from pressing their famous wines. The skins were directly macerated in wild beer brought along in the van. After 3 months skin maceration the beer was seperated from the skins, left to clarify and manually bottled. This is a very exclusive bottling of 134 magnums.

Kleur is bleek strogeel, met wit schuim. Geur is behoorlijk funky, paardendeken, ook weer wat umami, zurig. In de mond is het zurig, kruidig, witte druiven, funky. Smaak is zacht zurig, zelfs een vleugje zoetig, funky. Lichte body. Smaakte gelukkig beter dan het rook.
