Pine Mountain Monolith is a brown ale on the lighter side, great for a hike at Stadium Park in Atascadero. Notes of baked bread and toasted nuts compliment hints of caramel all backed up by a nice toasty malt backbone. Not overly sweet with a clean and crisp finish.

4 oz. draft pour as part of a flight at Glendale Tap. Clear maple syrup brown, thin head, excellent retention, soapy lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, caramel. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation. Finish as taste. Good brown.
