Traditional Malty Bitter. Crystal and Chocolate malts give a nut-brown colour and sweet, biscuity malt character to this full-bodied ale. Yorkshire Sovereign hops add bitterness and a fruity, grassy aroma to round out a bitter of depth and complexity.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium to dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is malt, light woody citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth woody, light resin hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A fine session bitter.
