De volle bitterheid van de Othmar Double IPA is het resultaat van een specifiek geselecteerde combinatie van hopsoorten, zoals Citra, Mosaïc en Eclipse. Door de toevoeging van extra mout ontstaat een bier dat rijk en vol is van smaak. De combinatie van fruitige en bittere tonen van de hop, samen met de warmte van het hoge alcoholpercentage, maakt dit bier perfect voor de liefhebber van stevige bieren.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with average, dense, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and condensed, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon, orange, mandarine, grapefruit, marmalade, a touch of red berries, jelly, marzipan. Taste is sweet, caramel malty and bitter, citrusy fruity and minimally piney hoppy, condensed but relatively weak hints of orange, mandarine, some grapefruit, lemon, marmalade, a touch of apricot jelly.
Creamy-oily texture, smooth and soft, silky, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice mouthfeel, mild bitterness, condensed but not overly intense hop flavours - OK.
