Barrel aged saison with boysenberries.
Appreciation is a barrel-aged farmhouse ale fermented with boysenberries and our resident funk. After several months in red wine barrels it has taken on a mouth-watering acidity a whiff of the barnyard, and stronger aromas and flavors attributed to the fruit. Appreciation's ruby red color entices welcoming another sip, another clink of glasses with friends, another moment of contentment and contemplation! With gratitude, we humbly offer our appreciation.

On tap at CBC 2016 - day 2. Hazy ruby with an off-white head. Fruit sourness, perfumey aroma with notes of dark berries. Cherries, gooseberries, taet fruit. Acetic but very complex.

Draught @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Almost clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of lemon, grain, apple skin and light grain. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of lemon, apple skin and light grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice!

[1/31/16] Bottle sample at a hotel lobby bottle share during RBWG 2016 in Santa Rosa. Lovely purple color. Aroma of lots of berries, a bit of latex. Sour puckering flavor, lactic, lemon, lots of berries. Leaves the mouth dry. Medium-bodied. Great.

Bottle - Lots of funky cherry notes. Cloudy reddish with a light pink head. Sweet fruity cherry and a nice light acidic finish. Solid.
