Így szüret után talán nem is lehetett volna jobb választás, mint Új-Zéland legnevesebb komlója, a Nelson Sauvin. Tavaly nem sikerült szerezni belőle, de idén végre kipipálhatjuk a listánkról. Nevében a Nelson Tazmánia egyik régiójára, míg a sauvin szó a sauvignon blanc szőlőre utal. Intenzív gyümölcsös íz és illat jellemzi, a szőlős és boros jegyek mellett egres és trópusi gyümölcsök keverednek benne. Dupla adagot főztünk belőle, reméljük jut mindenkinek aki kíváncsi rá.

bottle @ beerka (győr) I only taste this #14 from the Bakancslista series, but I like this kind of bittersweet ipa, with orange and flowerish aromas

Közepes habja gyorsan eltűnik, színe borostyán. Illata intenzíven citrusos, malátás, némi zöldfűszeres aromával. Kesernyés, kissé zöldséges, enyhén fűszeres, citrusos és némi gyanta. Utóíze keserű, kis gyantával. Közepesen testes. Nem a kedvenc komlóm.

Draught. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

opalescent dark golden colour, minimal off-white head, which disappears fully quite quickly; aroma of some grape, boiled vegetables, maybe some floral notes, bread, hints of carmel and unfortunately something toilet-like smell; taste; bittersweet taste with grape and vegetables; I would cease this series since the quality is unfortunaately not really inceasing from hop to hop...2.8 with a huge amount of kindliness - objectively much closer to 2 than 3 :-(

Bottle at STart, Budapest. Poured s slightly hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma isn’t great and smells a little like a gents toilet! The flavour is moderate bitter with a skunky malt, woody hop, light citrus palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not great.
