440 ml can, canned 25 Sep 18 Pitch black body, with a medium, creamy, dark coffee-colored head. Aroma of espresso, dark chocolate, soy sauce, liquorice, molasses, chocolate fudge. Tastes similar, with a moderate booze. Full, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes warm, roasty, medium bitter, subtly sweet, wooden, with coffee, soy sauce, liquorice, dark chocolate. Tasty! Big, straight and robust, with lovely roast and dark chocolate notes and a subtle, oily sweetness. Really well balanced, smooth to drink for the strength, with just enough alcohol. Great Imperial Stout without gimmicks! Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17
