Blonde ambrée, pelure d’oignon. Limpide à légèrement voilée. Sa mousse blanche est de bonne tenue accompagnée de bulles fines. Nez puissant et liquoreux. Assez complexe, légèrement houblonné. Riche, ronde et suave. Un peu de sucrosité compensée par une amertume équilibrée. Perception de l’alcool faible. Aromatique complexe sur des notes de baies de genièvre, de malt et de fruits confiturés mais aussi de fruits secs. Des notes plus fraîches (agrumes, florales). Une bière puissante.

Bottled, from La Cave à Bulles, Paris. Clear deep golden, rich creamy head. Fruity nose with salty licorice and viola. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Berryish flavour with some seaweed and salted pork. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fryut, yeast, little dried fruits and a little brett. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, little dried fruits, little brett, medium sweet, hops, medium bitter and slightly acid.

Clearly, I got a better bottle than any one else. My friends all agreed this was one of the top beers we tried in france. med Amber color. Apple crumble, cinnamon, hints of icing sugar in the nose. Very rich and sweet. Malty, lots of apricots, apples and cinnamon in the mouth, but not as complex as the nose. Subtle bitter finish with lingering apricots. Alcohol well hidden. Very drinkable. Very balanced. Very rounded. Pleasent.

Bottle. Hazy amber color, small white edge head. Aroma of calvados liqueur. Taste is peppery, spicy and a bit vinegary. Unique.

Tasting at Papsø
Cloudy deep blond color. Fruity aroma, light raspberries, but nasty yeasty flavor; sweetish. Controversial.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry finish

Hazy amber with a tiny off white head. Fruity aroma with malt, drying hops and spicy notes. Flavour was dry and spicy with malt, yeast and malty notes. Finished dry.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fiujilin. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is citric and phenolic. Mild fruity and yeasty. Cinnamon, cardemomme and overall just spiced dry. Dry and caramelish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a cloudy deep golden with a rough white head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity. Medium body, quite spicy while the mouthfeel is rather tired. Some yeast and alcohol in the finish. 010410
