On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Liquorice, roast, plum, little bitter, leathery. Medium body. Old school. Fairly good.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a murky dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is light smoky toasty malt. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter with a smooth creamy, dry, light coffee, chocolate palate with some spice in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small off white head. Aroma is mild chocolate and breadish. Toasted malty. Breadish. Toffee, breadish, roasted and slight bitter. Dark malty.
