Bottle courtesy of André. Pours hazy golden with a frothy white head that doesn’t leave any trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is funky with sourdough crackers, caramel, lemon juice, yoghurt, hay, dry soil, leather, barnyard, horse blanket and lemon zest. Taste is sour and funky. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, tiny flat, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, yoghurt, hay, dry soil, barnyard, leather, horse blanket, minerals and lemon zest. Very gueuze-like. Heavy tannic astringent with simple acidity. Simple but tasty.
