Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is molasses, roasty malt. The flavour liqourice bitter with a rich liqourice roasty, light hop palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A porter with some flavour and a few stout like qualities but who knows where the line is drawn anyway!

Pours black with a quickly fading tan head.Nose shows a fair whack of roasted malt, some sweeter-smelling bready notes, and soft earthy cocoa.Heavy roast as a flavours contributing some liquorice. The bready element remains, but without contributing much sweetness. Finishes with a please dry roastiness.
