Rye receives some love with this hazy IPA with local Gazelle rye from LINC Malt & Moon Family Farm in Prosser. Along with flaked wheat, this hazy has a dank citrus & stonefruit flavor that’s backed up by an earthy grain flavor from the rye malt.

TCBW2025. Deep golden colour with a small foamy white head. Aroma is nectary, floral, fruity and some mild rye bready and biscuity tones to it. Flavour is rye bread, some oaty tones with mild fruity and floral tones as well. Well-drinkable.

A bit hazy golden colour and small white head. Citrus pine in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Citrusy, pale malty ipa. Good drinkability. TCBW 2025.

Draft pour pint at Elliott Bay Pizza, Mill Creek. Fun to run into this brewery and this style. Been a minute on both parts! Shiny golden pour, mostly clear. Oily thin lasting head, sticky lacing. Dank pine and citrus hops nose. Really nice bold and bitter piney hop flavor with just enough of that spicy rye. Biting IPA with a resinous hop linger. This really is an awesome IPA. Why do we so seldom see rye beers these days, when such a little amount goes such a long way towards making a beer so satisfying? Love this one here.
