Black with medium beige head. Sweet sour aroma with notes of roasted malt, berries and balsamico. Sweet and sour flavor with sour berries, roasted malt and oak notes. Must be infected. But that came out just right.

From bottle, 5B Papsoes New Zealand vs US blind tasting. Pours dark brown and hazy to murky with a fully diminished tan head. Roasted malt with a mild chocolate note. Sourish fruity flavour. Mild roasted note and more of that horrible sourish flavour. Ends strange fruity acidic.

Bottle at home with Tom and Royce ... Big thanks to my sister for not bringing back two swill lagers for me ... light malt nose ... bit over fizzy and thin ... but decent malt some chocolate ... some sweetness in roast ... not best stout but a decent stout and a great pick by my uninformed sister. WHO gave me the best of my chrstmas presents 2 unexpected interesting beers.

Dark brown, black colour, small brown head. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Flavour has roasted malts as well, with coffee and chocolate.

Bottled, brought from NZ by NoiZe. Pitch black color, short brown head. Aroma of oatmeal, roasted malt, some rye, hint of chocolat and coffee. Quite sweet taste, slight sugary, some chocolat, roasted malt, mocha. Ok stuff.

Bottled. Black with dense beige head. Light coffee aroma. Medium dry with a soft, near velvetty, malt character. The finish has more coffee than bitterness. An enjoyable mild stout.
