Cold IPA with Strata CGX and Subzero Nelson Sauvin Hopkief

It’s about time we entered the Cold IPA ring! In case you didn’t know, Cold IPA is a relatively new beer style that is the antithesis to hazy IPA. They are typically brewed with pilsner malt and either rice or corn to lighten the color and body and fermented with clean lager yeast to allow the hops to really punch out of the glass. What better way to enter than using some new advanced hop products from two of our most favorite hops, Strata and Nelson! The tropical qualities of Strata duke it out with the extra diesel-y nature of Nelson! Sub-Zero was brewed with a base of domestic pilsner malt and rice and lagered at temperatures BELOW freezing (sub zero, if you will) for maximum crispness. One sip and it’ll make you scream, “FINISH HIM!”
