On tap at Sandar. A hazy dark orange-golden beer with a dense dinner-thick off white head. Some curtains. The aroma is on the fruity side, with peach, orange zest, some grapefruit and a generic tropical fruit touch. Not much malts. The flavor is more on the piney side, with a nice bitterness as well as peach, orange zest and grapefruit. There’s a light malty sweetness in the back. It’s full bodied, semi dry and nicely carbonated, with a lasting bitter and citrus zest finish. A tasteful and dangerously easy drinkable beer. 161028

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus, with notes of hops and fruit and touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of citrus and malt, and fruity and estery notes. Bitter, hoppy and grassy aftertaste with mild citric notes. Well-balanced, full-bodied and very enjoyable. Good stuff.

Keg at Fermentoren. It pours cloudy orange with a thick white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, bready, fluffy malts, stewed orange, peach, resin, brioche, marmalade sandwich and wood. The taste is very bitter, resinous, sticky, pine needles, green, grassy, juicy, boozy, orange marmalade, stewed citrus, wood, leather with a dry, bitter - sweet finish. Medium + body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth - feel. Decent old school DIPA.

Bottle from Salt Horse. Hazy orange body with a dense off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, wood and melon rind. Flavour of pine, chalky lemon and bitter grass. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Musty and a bit weird.
