Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol, March 2015. Deep amber in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. A hint of spice, some earthy, malty sweetness, hedgerow fruit and a slightly bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at the King and Castle, Tourist Town, 24/03/15. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is dark fruit notes, raisens, light honey. Taste comprises a dollop of honey, caramel, earthy, light fruit cake, floral notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, a little thin and watery. So so affair, lacks body and depth.
