A razziában négy féle sötét maláta keveréke biztosítja a harmonikus mélységeket. "Egy durva razzia után semmi nem nyugtatja meg annyira a gengszteridegeket, mint egy testes barna búza."

Bottle at Szimpla Kert, Budapest. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, slightly medicinal. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a rich sweet malt, dry earthy, light alcohol palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Needs a little more work I think. Tastes a little like a home brew.

0.5l bottle. Hazy orange body with an instantly collapsing white head. The aroma is just what you expect from a dunkelweizen. Huge banana notes escorted by caramel, peach and toast. Taste of caramel, ripe banana, floral hops and some cloves. Cool label, nice beer.

Hát, ezen dolgozni kell még egy kicsit, kiforratlan mint az ebcsont. Lehet hogy nem futott fel az élesztő?

Jun ’14. A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy brownish body with a small ivory head. Very weak aroma, showed some yeast, citrus and spices. Flavor...sour, infected, too yoghurty and that citrus is mostly infected, sour component. To conclude - a typical Hungarian infected micro, I know it happens everywhere but somehow, some of their brewers seem to release such a beer way too often I have to make generalizations! Not rateable, but since the last batch was reportedly the same here’s as it is...

Bottled 500ml. -from Kézműves Csemege Budapest. Dark amber coloured, small off-white head, sour nose. Quite sour taste with notes of spices, yeast and caramel. Not good, potentially infected or just bad batch.

Ogi’s, thanks! After the insanely bad hefe, I couldn’t get myself to be excited about the dunkelweizen from this brewery, though I really, really dig their visual identity. In any case, poured a full dark amber-red body... not entirely dunkelweizenish, but hey. Slightly off white head too. Aroma... oh damn... tart, rubber, light citric notes, off? Infected? Yeah, infected, sour, with distinct meaty yeasty notes coming out. Will rerate once I get back to Hungary but man this one was bad... Come on Bigfoot! Your beer needs to be AT LEAST on the level of your labels!
