This dark copper lager is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect easy drinking brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich, toasty finish to the beer. Una Mas will leave you wanting one more.

Bottle: Pours clear, dark amber with a minimal, off-white head. Slightly toasty caramel malt aroma. Taste is caramel, with a soft fruitiness. Malty, a bit of nut...increasing as it warms. Not bad.

Enjoyed at the Pink Taco in Vegas. Pours a deep amber colour with a foamy warm cap, sloppy lacing and a nice coat tops the brew. Fruity malt nose (orange, plum) with caramel notes. Starts off with a rich malt and ends with a bitter finish. Mild dry mouthfeel. Quite a nice brewed amber ale overall.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy dark copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma of sweet caramel with a hint of chocolate. Near med body. Flavor is sort of a toffee/chocolate combo. Treacle aspect. It does suggest a toffee hard candy. Finishes pretty sweet. I’m not thinking this would be wildly popular amongst DIPA freaks.

Bottle. Pours with a clear orange to amber body with a small and not very retentive off-white head. Slowly fades to a ring. Some lacing. Aromas of malty first, nutty (maybe even husky), bready, lightly toasted. Hazelnuts, a hint of salinity. Pretzels. Minimal hop notes. A hint of esters which seems out of place. Flavors are nutty, biscuity, and again a hint of salinity. Medium bitterness that rounds to an overall neutral balance. Hop flavors are very minimal. No esters on the flavor. Some crispness and a short duration. Medium to lively bubbles, a bit high in alcohol for what I am use to from a Vienna. Seems like the water is pretty high in bicarbonate (getting some bite on the sides of the tongue). Decently dry finish. No real flaws. Decent.
