Altbier is a clean German Amber Ale that comes originally from Dusseldorf, north of Cologne, following the Rhine River. Its light drinkability but flavorful malt is Dusseldorf’s Amber counterpart to Cologne’s Pale Kolsch. We brewed ours with a blend of heritage German Malt, a touch of Caramel roasted malt, and a dash of Chocolate Wheat Malt along with German Noble Hops. That means we’re drinking a beautiful and classic amber beer with notes of toffee, almond, and sun-dried raisin with a firm, floral bitterness.
