500ml bottle from Tesco - Completely underwhelmed by this. Hazy orange, thin white head. Nose has none of the characteristics of a decent hefeweizen, seemed more in tune with a cheap bitter. The hops over did any wheat, the taste lacked depth and was irritatingly bitter. no sweetness, banana or clove. Rubbish.

I generally like wheat beer a lot. And was looking forward to drink this on The Train to Belfast from Dublin. It ended in The Toilet. No chance that I would end this one. Horrible. Hazed yellow color with a big white head. Grassy, herbal, wheat and an unpleasant sourness. Seemed pretty unbalanced all the way. No wheat and no banana. Medium body and a fine carbonation.

Bottle from Tesco, Brighouse. Amber-orange, hazy, with a very thin head. More of a wheat ale than a wheat beer with a very light fruitiness running through its character.

Bottle. Nose is yeasty, bubbblegum, slight banana cloves, on style. Taste is wheat, leading to banana and cloves, a little white chocolate in the spicy bitter finish. Odd notes of orange and red berry. Mouthfeel fine. Passable supermarket beer.

Bottle from Tesco. Pours a hazy straw colour with a bubbly broken white head. The aroma is yeast, light fruit, light banana. The flavour is neutral veggie, light sour, light sweet, with a crisp hoppy, fruit, light spice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A little different to your standard wheat beer with some added bitterness which probably caters nicely for the typical English palate.

On draft at the swan almondsbury, near Bristol. Ok for a mass produced wheat beer, trying to be a bit craft.

On cask at the Grosvenor. Appearance - a cloudy golden orange with a decent head. Nose - a bit elusive. Malty but no banana or spice. Taste - oranges rather than the expected banana or pineapple. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - not a hefeweizen. Decent though.

Bottle from Tesco; cloudy golden amber pour with a big fluffy white head, this is a wit lite everything is there but subdued a hint of clove and banana, suppose it’s ok.

50cl bottle from Tescos, Camberley.Bright amber with a slight haze, and a loose creamy white head; bready aroma; soft texture with some bananas and cloves; and a dry, gently bitter finish. Quite a pleasant Hefeweizen, but lacking the punch of the real thing.
