12/6/2023. Cask at The Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, stone fruits, malt, flowers. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, a little watery, soft carbonation.

Cask at the commercial rooms. Bristol. Clear light amber / orange coloured pour with a thin off white head. Some lacing. Aroma is nice woodland wood, red cranberry. Grainy cereal and dried apple on the nose. Flavour is composed of light grainy caramel malts, beery, hedgerow berry, tangy berry. Palate is semi sweet, decent cask condition. OK golden.

Cask at the Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malt light hop bitter citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A classic English session bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 27/2/2014. Deep amber with a frothy, white head. Tangerine and pineapple fruits, biscuity malts, plenty of grassy hops and a dryish finish. ENjoyable.
