Moonwake has added a bit of Kiwiana (A sense of NZ pop culture) to the Scottish classic, Eighty Shilling.

A malt blend of Special Belgium, Double Roasted Crystal and Melanoidin play together, creating a deep reddish brown hue and full body. Layers of biscuit, toffee and raisin are hopped with Wai-Iti and Southern Cross for delicate fig notes with a hint of spice.

From tap at Jeremiah's Taproom, Edinburgh. Nice blend of rich malt and hops. Toasty caramalts with notes of toffee, touch of tobacco, with gentle fruity hoppy touches. Firm bitter taste, light sweet. A fine glass of ale.
