Dosc tresciwe piwo ze spora snieza i trwqala piana. Jasna barwa i sporym nagazowaniem. Slodowe z lekkim przelamaniem goryczkowego zateckiego chmielu

Dość treściwe piwo w czeskim stylu. Niczym się nie różni od Baronki z czerwoną etykietą. Ale lager goryczkowy śmiało można polecić.

Pours a clear yellow golden color, topped with a big white creamy head. Medium retention. Quite bready aroma with some sweet floral and honey notes. Taste is mildly bready and sweet. Bittery finish and quite metallic aftertaste. Not that nice. Light body, drinkable.

500ml bottle from Premium Czech Beers online. Pours clear gold, short-lived white head. Quite low carbonation. Aromas of honey, grains, faint butterscotch, corn. Taste is thin, watery, sweet - more honey. Thin finish.

Oh, I think we’ve gone from circling the drain to being right in it. This one is bad, truly bad, bad like only a macro lager could be - makes sense that this is a macro subsidiary, it tastes like all the crap that Carlsberg has pumped out over the years around the world. Shall I bring up the nasty hangover of ’09, when I woke up after a massive bender in Malawi subsequent to sampling their bottles of bilge they manufacture in that country and pass off as "beer"? Well, that’s a story for another time at least. Six years later I’m in Prague getting hammered on these massive beer flight trays at the Prague Beer Museum (God bless ’em) and had I not smashed a few low numbers into my phone while drinking this I would have forgotten about it entirely. So there it is - forgettable. Hell, they could produce all these lagers in one place and mix up the labels and no one would notice. Though perhaps maybe they already do.....
