BOTTLE 50 CL. Some harsh sulfur in the aroma, that goes away after while. The malts have an interesting baked apple and aroma. The flavor is also baked apple, no hops and too much carbon dioxide acidity. Turn body, watery finish.

Can at some random gas station, 100km from Prague. 10.5P, 4% I think now. Poured a full golden body with a big white head that didn’t last that long. Lively carbonation. Grainy malty aroma. light plastic. Some wet cardboard. More of the same in the taste, vague malt, soft, empty body, Dull, bad bitterness near the end and in the aftertaste. Not terribly pleasant.

Can from an avond winkel in Prague. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, light malt. The flavour is medium to light bitter, with a watery malt light bitter hop palate and a short bitter finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. If I died drinking this beer i’d die a very unhappy man! In fact, drinking this beer at all might even be responsible for sending me to meet my maker!

Can from Galerie Piva. Golden yellow, white head. Malty, quite dry with some bitter hops. Nowhere near a good Czech beer.

500ml bottle with a fine, pale golden neck and October fest drawing. Trade with Gaute. Spotty lacing from a fast declining white head. Clear golden body. Pale malty nose, dry. Grass, mid-sweet malts and cardboard flavours. Dry and sweet ending. Flat and watered. Drinkable, but dull (shared with friends, Tromsø 12.102013).
