Keg at Bar Kino, Goteborg, 21/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a good sized off whtie head that retains well. Nose is caramel fudge, light smoke, brown sugar, cocoa powder. Taste comprises milk chocolate, light roast, brown sugar, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Simple but drinkable, had this down as a porter, more roast and chocolate than for a brown ale!

Where: Bar Kino, Göteborg.
Appearance: Brown colour with a beige head.
Aroma: Caramel, chocolate, roasted malt.
Body: Medium body and carbonation. Oily mouthfeel.
Flavour: Caramel, vinegar, chocolate, sugar. Bitter finish.

Tap at Bar Kino, Gothenburg. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is roasted malt light sweet nutty. The flavour is medium sweet light bitter with a smooth malt light fruit hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not many breweries can brew a good brown ale, Stigbergets clearly can!

Keg at Bar Kino, Gothenburg. Very dark brown, small head. Chocolaty nose with some ccaramel. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle, notes of lingonberry. Mellow with burnt sugar and mid bitter finish.

Draught (Bar Kino, Göteborg) - Dark brown in colour. Roasted and slightly smoky aroma. Roasted, rich and slightly fruity and nutty taste with raisins, chestnuts and hints of marzipan detected.
