During our discussions on the recipe, we talked about a legendary Italian dark ale that utilised tobacco leaves in the recipe. This imparted a mellow spiciness to the finished beer and was an instant classic. We’re adding a pinch of organic tobacco leaves and Cacao nibs to this brew for a rich, complex export stout that still drinks easily like a classic Irish stout.

Roasted malty, dark caramel, aroma.
Flavor is more complex with more roasted malts and chocolate, almost grainy flavor, very chocolatey , i can also taste the tobacco i think, as a stinging bite

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, with very fine cappuccino foam. Aroma is malty and licorice. Body smooth, slightly creamy, about average, with pretty much no carbonation. Taste is roasty bitter, with some sweetness behind. Final is average, a little sticky.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Red session), pours a dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of toasted malt, English malt, and some earthiness. Flavour is dry, and on-point for a dry stout, with soft bready malt and a bone dry finish. Dry and clean. Pleasant.
