Scottish-Inspired Stout
Our first stout! We took a recipe for a Scottish Wee Heavy and stout-ified it. All the ingredients were from the UK, including Golden Promise pale malt and roasted barley. We boiled 20 gallons of the sweet wort for six hours to create 4 gallons of thick syrup with intense caramelized flavors.
Batch #1 - 7.4% ABV
Batch #2 - 6.5% ABV
