Pitch black color with brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, getting some light cheesy impression. Good body strength, highly carbonated, smooth; some roasted malt and chocolate flavor, mild acidity, strong bitterness, tobacco impression, some alcohol.

Tap @ Bishops Arms Savoy, Malmö. Black with a dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 080214

Tap at the Bishops Arms, Savoy. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt with a little dark chocolate. The flavour is strong bitter, moderate sweet with a smooth rich alcoholic liqourice palate and a short to medium bitter finish. A super rich and flavourful beer. Really enjoyed this. It was served by the brewer too. I feel privileged.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan to brown head. Aroma is roasted malty and chocolate. Bitter and chcolate to roasted malt flavoured. dry. Thick malty and caramelish. Solid chocolate and roasted finish.
