Almost perfectly clear golden coloured body with a faint haze of around 5 per cent opacity, all with a large, six centimetre tall almost pure white head - very similar to the first pour of a method champagnoise wine - without as much carbonation (visible) below. Aroma of crisp grassy and herbal hops with a nice, subtle fruit note as well and a sliver of yeast and bread, but the scent is clean and saison-y - very nice int he nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Very crisp and grassy flavours show at first with a herbal and perfumey note as well, from the hops, with a very small amount of sugars here as well - but enough to help balance out the dryness, hay and grassy notes. Aftertaste is robust - full of crisp notes from the hops, but the malt seemingly shows some bitterness, too - with a light lemon and citrus flavour and some soft sugars at the end, too. Overall, a very nice - crisp, grassy, herbal and dry IPA that is great for the style and showing nicely in the days of only 'hazy' IPAs - this is enjoyable throughout - great from a new brewery for me - I'll be looking for more from this brewery the next time I HAVE to visit Maryland! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Perfect Pour in Elkridge, Maryland on 25-October-2022 for US$4,99 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 11-November-2022.
