After brewing Manatees at the Power Plant in Miami earlier this year, we decided to bring our homey J. Wakefield up to show him some D.C. hospitality and brew up a monster Double IPA.
This beer has more hops in it than you can shake a stick at. Brewed with Amarillo, Centennial, and Simcoe hops, it’s then finished with a crazy double/triple dry-hopping of Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe Lupulin Powder to give it an off the chain hop character without a ton of residual bitterness.
Ringing in at 8.5% this formidable beast will leave you dreaming of all the hops you just drank.
