A very indulgent chocolate porter which presents itself as a thick, dark ale. The hops lift the flavours before the robust chocolate and nutty notes take hold! A very long, rich flavour which leaves you wanting more!

Third, cask ale shared with Finn at the brewpub. Jet black in the glass, bare naked at the top, scattered lacing. Dark malts and dark fruit on the nose. Dark malt-drive flavours with hints of both chocolate and liquorice, slightly sourish off-taste. Roasted ending. Accepted. (Birmingham 03.02.2020).

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2013 and not at the Back of Rackhams! Poured a deep mahogany colour with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasted malt chocolate and dry pepper spice. The flavour is medium bitter with a light to heavy bodied smooth palate and a light bitter spicy finish.
