Draft at Fresh Craft. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy tan head. The aroma is citrus fruit and hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a liqourice, yeast, moderately dry hop palate. A nice beer but a black IPA needs a little more I feel.

Tap at Freshcraft - black pour with an impressive off white head - nose of bitter black malts and resinous, piney hops - creamy body - falls into the trap that many black ipas do up front in that it is a bit too sweet and stouty - a fair amount of acidity through the middle - dries out enough for the strong, earthy, wood hops to be welcome - finish is a bitt too acidic - pretty good, though.
