PARKLIFE is a refreshing light ale with a great taste. We use a selection of fine New World hops including Ella (we’re using whole leaves) to give PARKLIFE a full, clean flavour, beautiful colour and a wonderful aroma.

Cask gravity at the Watford RFC beer fest. Aroma is berry fruits, light caramel. Couple of days old cask in hot weather. . Red amber colour with fleeting thin white head. Lacks condition. Flavour is caramel biscuit malts with a touch of toast. Assertive rough earthy bitterness. Some brambles. Slight vinegar. Palate is flabby with almost no condition. I’m sure this would be decent if it was served well.

(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 13 Apr 2014) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, nuts and dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with nuts, apricots, citrus and an earthy bitterness in the finish. Light body, with balanced sweetness. A bit thin, but well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

Hazy amber. Loose bubbly head. Earthy slightly marmaladey aroma, mild bittermess, some toasty biscuity malts, earthy hop finish and a bit juicy. Very quaffable.

Gravity pour and brought up from the cellar at The Crown Inn, Oakengates by the Landlord (John): because 34 hand-pulls aren’t enough for his customers and they wanted more choice during his 35th Beer Festival (3rd - 7th Oct 2013). This beer punches well above it’s 3.2% ABV. Light brown/amber body, slight haze, with a thin white head. The beer is a pleasant blend of flavours and aromas: nothing too powerful, just subtle notes of semi-sweet caramel maltiness and mildly bittering hops which only really assert themselves towards the end of each sip. A well made low alcohol beauty.

Cask handpull at The Harp Chandos Place. Clear mid brown colour thin beige head. Grapefruit hop aroma. Really drinkable in the mouth some hop on finish tasty low abv bitter

Bree Louise. Cask. Lightly hazy gold amber beer with a small white head. Light dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Malt is light and carries subtle caramel. Mellow citric hops and a little juicy marmalade. Would never have guessed Ella. Very dry finish. Okay if too dry.

Cask @ Bree Louise, Euston NW1. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty weak hoppy bitter caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

2 litre PET bottle from the brewery split at JF’s, 23/08/13. Clear copper/golden with a good sized light beige covering. Nose is earthy hops, bitter orange, tangy citrus, toasted malts. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, earthy, mineral notes. Light to medium in body, fine carbonation, dry finish with a little hop bitterness. Tasty affair for the ABV - I’d have had this down as a golden blonde, not a bitter!
