Keg at Cloisters. Hazy pale golden body with a white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon meringue, peanut shell and flower stems. Flavour of lemon meringue and marshmallow. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Very fizzy. This is delicious - bright and lemony. The last few Two By Two beers I’ve had have been fantastic; they’re now a go-to brewery for me if I see their beers on cask or keg.

Cask at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a murky gold with a sizable almost white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly sweet citrus with hints of lemon and grapefruit. In the mouth it is sweet with a little underlying sharpness and a creamy texture. Flavour has floral hops, tropical fruits and peaches with hints of ginger and lemon coming later. This is better than it looks.
